socks

do you know some realy good and comfortable and at first realy thick socks - developped for snowboarders? I´m actualy looking for one pair of this kind because winter is comming and before I decide I would like to read some feed-backs.Now I have only one pair...they aren´t for snowboarders, quite thin, and they belongs to my dad...my seize is 36 and his 42 so it´s not ideal..Now I´m sleeping in them because it´s quite cold in my room and also because it makes me feel like in winter you may thing I´m crazy but while I´m dreaming I have impression that I´m on the mountain

I have a question to everybody who loves winter...how this winter is going to be? long or short? - somebody tells it´s going to be great - a lot and lot of snow in our snowboard boots, many icicles on the roofsand twinkling snowflakes are melting down on our necks-it will be wonderful won´t it?so what do you think? - I personaly believe in it-because it makes me feel happier I have ever been...

the most important thing while you are riding:

there are several articles about importance of good board, clothes and other snowboard stuff but I didn´t found any article about importance of friendship on your riding trips.So I decided to tell you about my experience ...when I started to learn I was alone and you can believe me that when you fall alone it hurts more than when your friends are with you.If you have somebody to share your knowledge you don´t have to learn on your own faults.And when you have the thickiest socks you can find - you ´ll ride in comfort and the world is going to be nicer.never try to learn new tricks with nobody beside you-if you´ll not be able to do it -you can at least laugh on yourself-but always with your friend.When you laught on yourself alone - you look like an idiot and you ´ll probably stay alone for all your life but nevermind-you can always change your identity and move to colorado ( somebody told me that there is a wonderful winter)..if you live in colorado right now you are the lost case - I´m affraid.(it was just a joke - of course there´s another possibility-you can join Santa claus on the north pole - there´s a lot of snow and elfs don´t mind if you are loser or not)Well I just try to say that the most important thing on the mountain is to have a friend(or at least an enemy beside you)-it´s safer and also more funny.and at the end one small advice : nevvver crumple your feet while you are falling on your front or you´ll kick yourself to your head.

crazyness and movie

have you ever done snowboarding while it was raining? - I have , and I can tell you that it have a lot of advantages...there was only 5 snowboarders and me-so the place wasn´t crowded and you can fall down and nobody´s watching ´cause there´s nobodythis weather is convenient only for real fanatics because when you finish you are so wet that you don´t have to wash your clothes and don´t have to take a shower ... You have to wear realy good googles because if you ride fast the rain can be realy annoying-believe me.But if you are decided to venture all this I would be proud to become your friend because You are as mad as I am.

nowthere´s no snow,however I´m planing to make a short film-something as a snowboard documentary and at first - funniest movie you have ever seen...I can´t wait...but there are some things, I have to figure out before winter comes because then I´ll be busy.I´m looking for some song or music - something like tiger is not a bird by timid tiger - because this is my favourite song-but I can´t find it on the net...so if you have some advice for me just let me know and maybe you ´ll be my director for music this winter I just want to say that it would be stupid to try to make my film on my own...when it´ll be finished I´ll let you know where you can watch it

halfpipe and tricks

I would like to start to learn some tricks but all I have do so far was just jumping - so I have a question..what´s the best trick to start with? I have no idea so help!you can write me and then I´ll share your advice with other readers of my blog-if you´ll agree of coursethanks

it´s getting colder,...

you know, I´m waiting for winter all year since the snow from last year disappeared and now, it´s only september and it´s getting colder. I don´t say it´s going to snow soon but it makes me feel better when it´s cold.I read some blogs on the net or I write message to somebody of you and I hear that it´s snowing right now - all over the world, or at least at some place of our planet and I´m here , just waiting and still hope. In the sport shop in our city , there´s great sale -50% of all snowboarding items. It´s crazy because we are going to have some snow in december or so and you can find in shops t- shirts and other summer clothes. :) But it´s good for us - snow and winter fanatics isn´t it?
Today I was searching on the internet some simple tricks, because this year I want to learn something and I found backflip-some people think it´s so easy and they tell me that I should try it - at first in the pool and then on the mountain...well I don´t know maybe I´ll do something with this idea..if yes I´ll inform you about everything..

R.I.P. mike Halbauer

Well, this is a story about one hero who I didn´t meet.
his life was suddenly finished and nobody can call him back but he will stay in our hearts forever.
the date 8.10 will be the date of huge sadness but also the day of living memory of this great snowboarder and boy.
somebody told me he was wearing bright pink bandanna while he was riding on the mountain so I proclaim the date 8. october as the day of bright pink bandanna . I´m not able to do it in reality but I can dream and never forget .
So rest in peace mike.

the first day at school

so, I´m back home and I´m going to prepare my lunch-I´m quite hungry :)
this day was relatively Ok but tomorrow we start to learn-only 5 lessons a day (this week)

but it´s too much for us - because our brains are still on holiday...they´re going to give us new books...I don´t have new notebooks - I should buy some ,one day....

I hope your first day at school was as succesful as mine...let´s hope that the next one will be better.

orienteering run

well, yesterday I came back from one competition -which was wonderfull...I was 4th, but it´s OK..I spended 4 days in tent and I´ve been running alone in the forest with map and compas searching for small white-orange controls.. first two days were nice - maybe too hot but sun was shining and it was important for us...but two last days it was bucketing down - our tent was wet our trainers and socks were wet - it´s not very comfortable when you have to put on wet socks and trainers in the morning :) - you can believe me - I know what am I talking about...

everyone ´s speaking about new board or something else - and there´s no snow ! so wake up!!!
or if you are one of the happier please don´t tell it to me! ´cause I realy need snow...

It´s not fair!

did you know that in Australia they have snow? - a lot of snow in fact...huge quantity of snow ...and they´ll have it till september..... this is the world - equality of rights for everyone!
...

so....it´s me with my friend from school...we are wearing pink tops because it was a day when we were taking photo of our whole class... we don´t have to wear school uniform - so we think it´s fantastic to wear the same clothes :) - and every year we choose another colour - this yoar it was pink :)

we enjoyed it - realy :)

today...

it´s crazy...when I came back from England - last month I brought with me 13 books - in English of course :)
and I started to read them...and today Í read some magazine and after few minutes I wasn´t able to remember if it was in english or in slovak ...
but it´s maybe good - because it means that I can speak english quite good - but in the same time it´s strange - isn´t it?
maybe it´s because of this weather - hot summer without snow - it can´t be good for me - and for my mental health too...

what am I doing now ?

It´s sometimes difficult to answer this question - and sometimes there´s no answer - mainly in those days when I´m on holiday and there´s nothing to do - realy!!!
and it´s summer - hot and humid and without snow ..
I´ve made un count down - when I was waiting for this summer holiday but now I´m sure that in few days I´ll be forced by this weather to make a count down for winter...Are you missing the snow as much as me? - I´m sure you are...and it´s hopeless to was unable to do something about it - isn´t it?
wouldn´t it be marwellous to see a snowflake - only one - it´ll be enought - to give us a hope :)
